Yoga was introduced into my life with divine timing. It was during my years at West Virginia University studying Exercise Physiology, when my outlook on life was very much focused on the physical body. I was learning all the intricate ways the body functions inside and out. I had always enjoyed sports, recreational activities, and anything that allowed me to be outside in nature. There was a sense of peace I felt in the great outdoors. It wasn’t until I found yoga that I realized this peace was within, and I could tap into it at any time. Yoga was the true turning point from a purely physical awareness, to the emotional, energetic, and spiritual side of life and myself. Daily yoga, meditation, and mindfulness soon became a natural way of life and my tools for anxiety and bouts of low self-esteem. The opportunity came for me to study under JoAnne Vandenhengel at BlissBlissBliss in 2013 and I've never looked back.

I use my background in Exercise Physiology and my deep rooted desire to play and to experience in my yoga classes.
